Established
as a precision machining operation in 1987 with the purchase of our
first CNC lathe our history of mechanical repair and problem solving
go back to our roots. In 1945 Bryan Nye’s grandfather, Herman Nye,
opened
Nye’s General Repair Shop where he built a reputation repairing farm
machinery and heavy equipment.
Today
Nye's Machine and Design has a reputation for
producing precision fabricated parts and design solutions. Now
with 11 CNC machining centers (8-CNC vertical mills and 3-CNC
lathes) and a wide variety of support equipment. We are able to
prototype and produce precision fabricated components in steel,
stainless steel, aluminum and plastics.
Our
innovative machine designs solve some of our customers toughest
process and production problems. We are proud to announce that
in 2008, Nye Machine & Design, Inc. opened a 2nd location at 90
South Wilson Ave in Elizabethtown, PA.

concerns for on time delivery of quality precision fabricated
components.

a resource for our customers, we can not do it all.
So, we have built a strong network of quality-conscious
sub-contractors who provide us with a wide range of services including
wire EDM, heat treating, plating, painting, castings, and raw
materials. In this way we are able to serve our customers needs by being a
single source for all of their fabrication needs.
